Additionally, it eases redness and inflammation, treats sunburns, and aids renewal of the skin. The essential oil fights dandruff and locks moisture to control frizz. When used in aromatherapy, peppermint clears the nasal passage to soothe breathing. It Relaxes muscle aches too.
How to use:-
Cold, congestion & steam: Add a few drops of peppermint oil to a hot water bowl and inhale vapors for 5-10 mins. or use it as a cold rub on the chest by mixing with a carrier oil (almond, jojoba oil, etc.)
Hair & scalp health: Add 2-3 drops daily to your shampoo & conditioner. or add 2 drops to 1 tbsp of carrier oil and massage on the scalp and wash after 15-20 mins.
Skincare: Add a few drops daily to your body wash or lotion to achieve healthy & radiant skin. For acne, mix 2-3 drops of peppermint oil & lavender oil each in a tsp of carrier oil and apply topically to the affected area.
Pain relief: Add 5-7 drops to 10ml of jojoba or almond oil and rub on the affected area.
Aromatherapy: Diffuse at home. Add 5-10 drops per 200ml water in a diffuser or as per your diffuser's instructions.
