It has gentle formulation that didn't make me purge at all. It didn't trigger any active acne and never gave me irritation. Absorbs on to the skin very well but on hot humid days it feels very sticky.
I have give this product my fair chances, used once a week first, twice a week for 2-3 months but didn't see any prominent results with it. Just noticed it makes my skin little smooth texture wise next day. It was gentle but wasn’t able to get rid of some stubborn blackheads
